IFO is a combination between bird
and plane. It is always facing the
wind like a weathercock and moving
up and down as a function of the
wind’s speed.
The wings have a shape like airplane
wings. This shape let the Bernoulli
Principle (about aerodynamics) act
and the bird soar or take down
toward different levels depending on
the speed of the wind.
IFO is mounted on a deformable
parallelogram that maintains the
sculpture always horizontally.
The sculpture has the added benefit
to generate its own electricity, by
an internal wind turbine, to
illuminate three tiny bulbs that can
be seen by night.
